The Reader’s Edition of the sixth edition of the Greek New Testament provides extensive translation aids for the Greek New Testament text, including:
. Footnotes on every page with English translations (according to the immediate context) of all words that occur 30 times or less in the Greek New Testament
. Translations of difficult idiomatic expressions
. Grammatical analysis of all challenging verb forms
. An appendix provides English translations for all words that occur more than 30 times in the Greek New Testament.
In favour of these translation aids the edition does not include a critical apparatus. The Greek text is identical to that of the sixth edition of The Greek New Testament (UBS6) and the 29th edition of the Novum Testamentum Graece (NA29).
