Tema: A ‘tradução’ da Bíblia a partir da perspectiva de Roman Jakobson, ou seja, da interpretação dos signos verbais de uma determinada língua por meio de outra: a tradução interlingual; a reformulação ou interpretação dos signos verbais por outros signos da mesma língua: a tradução semiótica; a interpretação dos signos verbais por meio de sistemas não-verbais, como o cinema, a pintura ou a música: a tradução intersemiótica; e, na perspectiva de Walter Benjamin, “a tradução para exprimir a relação mais íntima e invisível entre as línguas”; ou, ainda, a tradução como jogo intertextual da diferença, como queria Paul Valery, Jorge Luis Borges e Haroldo de Campos

Topic: ‘Translation’ is here understood in the perspective of Roman Jaboson – as interpreting verbal symbols from one language by means of using signs of some other one: interlingual translation; as re-formulating or interpreting verbal symbols by means of using symbols of the same language: semiotic intralingual translation; as interpreting verbal symbols by means of non-verbal systems, such as cinema, painting or music: intersemiotic translation; and also in the perspective of Walter Benjamin, when this author postulates that “translation has as its primary aim the expression of the most intimate and invisible relationship between languages”; or still, translation in the perspective of those, like Paul Valey, Jorge Luis Borges and Haroldo de Campos, who aimed at the erasure of the notion of the ‘unique text’ and favored translation as intertextual play of differences
Public: The Colloquium will be open for teachers, researchers and graduate students who want to present papers and for undergraduate students who want to present posters
